Food, Beverages & Picnics
FOOD
A variety of food and beverage options are available at every race meeting. Chips, hot dogs, pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, hamburgers, cupcakes, and ice cream can be purchased from the snack bars.
Substantial meals are offered in the Grandstand Bistro. All racegoers are welcome to order from the menu, find a table, and consume their meal. Bookings are not necessary but are recommended on busier Saturdays.
Premium hospitality and drinks packages must be booked in advance via Moshtix. Browse options here.
PICNICS
BYO picnics can be enjoyed in designated areas including the Lawn Marquee, Public Lawn, and Public Bar. These are ideal spots to base a group.
BYO food is strictly prohibited in the Dining Room, Grandstand Bistro, AJ Bert Lillye Lounge, Members Bar, and on the Members Lawn.
Sweet and savoury grazing boxes can be ordered from Kembla Grange Racecourse via Moshtix at least 48 hours in advance.
ALCOHOL
Alcohol must not be brought into Kembla Grange Racecourse under any circumstances. Bags are checked on arrival and alcohol will be confiscated.
Transport
TRANSPORT
Trains & Buses
Plan your trip on public transport via the link below. Trains stop at Kembla Grange Racecourse Station on Saturdays and regular bus services operate at all other times.
Taxis, Uber, & Drop-offs
There is a dedicated drop off and pick up area at the front of the racecourse on the Princes Highway. Traffic management staff will be on site to direct vehicles to the appropriate location.
Parking
Ample free parking is available at the racecourse. Enter the carpark via the Princes Highway. If the main carpark reaches capacity, traffic will be directed to the infield to park.
Disabled Parking
Limited accessible parking is available outside the administration building for people with an NSW Government-issued permit.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Kembla Grange Racecourse is committed to the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Kembla Grange Racecourse:
- recognises that it is against the law to serve anyone to intoxication.

- recognises that it is against the law to allow disruptive or violent behavior to occur on these premises.

Refusal of Service
It is against the law to serve an intoxicated person, which has serious consequences for the staff member and the Club. Whilst an individual’s patronage is greatly valued, intoxicated persons will be requested to leave the premises. Failure to leave as requested will result in Police action and a possible fine.
Drinking and Driving
Staff members will be pro-active in seeking to discourage drinking and driving. The club will assist with alternative transport arrangements including posting train timetables at the entrance to the racecourse, assisting with the use of the TripPlanner app, and calling taxis.

Kembla Grange Racecourse hosts monthly barrier trials for local and visiting trainers.
