On the field

Registration

Registration is from 11am – 1pm at the administration office. Walk through the front gate, immediately turn left, and ask for a registration form at the window. A maximum of 30 entrants are permitted in each category. No late entries will be accepted. 

Judging Criteria

Judges will be looking for an eye-catching outfit that reflects current trends and the racegoer’s personal style. There is no theme or colour for the day. 

Millinery appropriate for the Spring/Summer racing season (no felt or wool) is compulsory for ladies wishing to enter fashions on the field. There are no preferences for shoes. Stockings and gloves are optional. 

Millinery is not essential for gentlemen. 

Entry is open to those aged 18 or older on the day of the competition.

Prizes

The major prize for the Best Dressed Lady and Best Dressed Gentleman is a weekend driving experience in a Mercedes-Benz from City Motors Group.
